TERMS OF AGREEMENT >>>

The word ‘YOU’ and ‘YOUR’ as applied throughout this agreement will and shall mean the volunteer as well as participants taking part in our program.

  1. HELP shall not be liable for major accidents such as motor accidents, whilst in Ghana. However, minor injuries sustained at workplaces and homes whilst under the care of HELP shall be catered for.
  2. Fees (Registration and Program) paid are not refundable. However, when notified earlier, participant shall be given only one option to be part of the next batch of volunteers.
  3. Host Parents shall be the mandatory ‘Second Parents’ of volunteers whilst working with HELP. ‘Second ‘Parents’ shall only be changed by HELP when the need arises.
  4. You will have the opportunity to visit interesting places in the country only during weekends, holidays, or organized tour by HELP. HELP shall however, not be liable for incidences such as robbery, loss of property, etc.
  5. HELP shall not be liable for other theft cases, sickness, death, etc of a volunteer.
  6. You cease to be a volunteer of HELP after the period of volunteering is ended. However, you can extend the period of volunteering on an agreed fee.
  7. HELP shall not be liable for any problem that arises due to intimate relationships with anyone.
  8. A choice of program cannot be changed unless HELP is notified earlier before the arrival of volunteer.
  9. A certificate shall be awarded to volunteers after the period of service
